His Highness Prince Abdullah bin Musa’ad bin Abdurrahman Al- Saud, the chairman has signed a contract with Mr. Erich Pichlmaier, the MD of the German company, Christian Pfeiffer, for the delivery of a third cement mill for Jazan plant. The contract consist of delivering the full mechanical and electrical equipment, the design, the supervision of the civil works the steel structures- the mechanical and the electrical installations and the commissioning works. The contract was signed on Sunday 17/7/1432h corresponding to 19/6/2011. The board members of the southern province cement company and the members of the German delegates attended the occasion.
The contract value is EURO 8,700,000 equaling SR 47,300,000. The mill capacity is 150 tons/ hour, the execution period is (10) months starting the date of the contract signing.
This mill shall bring up the grinding capacity of Jazan plant by 50%.
This project shall be self-financed by the company.
