Further to the companys announcement on 30.5.2012 regarding the signing of the contract of the execution of the third production line in Tahama plant with Sinoma International Company with a value of (180) million dollars, equaling to (707) million Saudi Riyals, to execute a complete third line, the company hereby announces that the letter of
HH Prince Abdullah bin Mosa’ad bin Abdulrahman Al- Saud, Chairman, in witness of the Directors, has signed a contract with Mr. Wu Shoufu, President of Sinoma International Engineering Company Ltd., for the execution of the third production line in Tahama Plant. The event took place on the afternoon of this Wednesday 9/7/1433h corresponding to 30/5/2012.
Further to its announcement dated 11/2/2012, Southern Province Cement Company announces starting the commercial production of the second line in Tahama plant on 1/3/2012. The production has reached 5,000 tons/day by now, which matches the nominal capacity as per the contract. With this, the production of Tahama plant has increased to reach 10,000 tons/ day.
