أسمنت المنطقة الجنوبية (عسير): شركة رائدة في صناعة الأسمنت، تقدم منتجات عالية الجودة لدعم مشاريع البناء في المملكة.
التشغيل والإنتاج:
أول مصانع الشركة المنشأة في المنطقة الجنوبية ولتغطية متطلبات السوق المحلية من منتج الأسمنت بنوعيه (الأسمنت البورتلاندي العادي والمقاوم للأملاح) ، ويتكون من خطي انتاج بطاقة تصميمية (5,000) طن في اليوم ( 1,500,000 طن في السنة( ، ونزلت باكورة إنتاج المصنع من الأسمنت إلى الأسواق يوم 16 صفر 1402 هـ الموافق 13/12/1981م ، وبفضل ادخال بعض التعديلات الفنية على خطي الإنتاج تم رفع الطاقة الإنتاجية الى (6,000) طن في اليوم (1,800,000) طن كلنكر ، بزيادة تقريبية قدرها 20 % عن الطاقة التصميمية .

- تصميم وإنتاج شركة (FULLER) الأمريكية .
- تم بحمد الله تشغيله وإنتاج الكلنكر في الثاني محرم 1402 هـ الموافق 30 من أكتوبر 1981م .

Southern Region Cement Company owns three strategically located plants covering southern and western Saudi Arabia, bringing the company closer to its main markets, reducing supply costs, and enhancing its competitiveness. The total design capacity is approximately 26,000 tons of clinker per day, and the grinding capacity is up to 40,600 tons of cement per day.

Jazan Factory
Factory details:
The new Jazan factory production line is a replacement for the existing production lines. This project represents the most prominent capital investment in the company’s modern history, and aims to replace the existing lines at the Jazan factory with modern and more efficient production technologies.

The new Jazan factory production line is considered a replacement for the existing production lines. This project represents the largest capital investment in the company’s recent history, and it aims to replace the current lines at the Jazan plant with modern production technologies and higher efficiency.
Key project specifications:
- Reducing production cost per ton through more energy-efficient technologies
- Lowering carbon emissions compared to the replaced lines
- Improving operational reliability and reducing maintenance costs
- Providing future expansion flexibility without the need for additional infrastructure
Full commercial operation is linked to the completion of the remaining construction phases according to the scheduled plan.
It will be announced once achieved via the Tadawul platform as a material event for the company.

مصنع جازان
تفاصيل المصنع:
يقع المصنع في أحد المسارحة، على بعد 70 كيلومتراً جنوب شرق مدينة جازان، وقد اختير هذا الموقع لوفرة الحجر الجيري فيه، وهو المادة الأساسية لصناعة الأسمنت.

Bisha factory
Factory details:
The factory is located 68 kilometers southwest of Bisha Governorate, and it has been connected by a 33-kilometer road to the main road (Bisha – Khamis Mushait) which was implemented at the company’s expense.
Operation and production:
It is the company’s second factory. The company established it to meet the local market’s demand for Portland cement in both types (ordinary Portland cement and sulfate-resistant cement). The factory consists of two production lines with a design capacity of 9,000 tons per day (2,700,000 tons per year) of clinker. The first production of cement from the factory was released to the market on 9 Muharram 1418 AH, corresponding to 15/05/1997.
First production line:
- Design capacity (4000) tons per day (1,200,000 tons per year).
- Designed by the Danish company (FLS).
- By the grace of God, the first production line was put into operation and clinker production began on the 23rd of Dhu al-Qi’dah 1417 AH, corresponding to the 1st of April 1997 AD.
Second production line:
- Design capacity (5000) tons per day (1,500,000 tons per year).
- Designed by the Chinese company (CNBM).
- By the grace of God, the second production line was put into operation on the 11th of Jumada Al-Thani 1438 AH, corresponding to 27 February 2018 AD.
Tihama Factory
Factory details:
The factory is located in Al-Ardiyah, Al-Qunfudhah Governorate, Makkah Region. It is connected to the Al-Majardah-Makkah highway via two roads:
The first, 11 km long, runs south of the factory, and the second, 9 km long, runs east of the factory.
Operation and production:
It is the company’s third and largest factory in terms of production capacity. The company sought to establish it in this region to contribute to covering the needs of two regions (southern and western) for cement of its two types (ordinary Portland cement and sulfate-resistant cement). The factory consists of three production lines with a total design capacity of (15,000) tons per day (4,500,000 tons per year) of clinker:
First production line:
- Design capacity (5,000) tons per day (1,500,000 tons per year).
- Designed and produced by the Chinese company Sinoma International.
- By the grace of God, the furnace was put into operation and clinker production began on the 17th of Rajab, 1428 AH, corresponding to July 31, 2007 AD, and commercial operation began on the 24th of Muharram, 1429 AH, corresponding to February 1, 2008 AD.
Second production line:
- Design capacity (5,000) tons per day (1,500,000 tons per year).
- Designed and produced by the Chinese global company SINOMA.
- By the grace of God, the kiln was put into operation and clinker production began on 17 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1433 AH, corresponding to 9 February 2012 AD.
Third production line:
- Design capacity: 5,000 tons per day (1,500,000 tons per year).
- Designed and produced by the Chinese company Sinoma International.
- By the grace of God, the kiln was put into operation and clinker production began on the 18th of Rajab, 1436 AH, corresponding to May 7, 2015 AD.
Production quality control:
The Quality Control Department at the factories monitors every stage of the production process, from the extraction of limestone from the quarry to the final stage of bagging and cement shipment. This is done by taking samples, analyzing them, and adjusting material proportions at each stage according to specific standards to ensure the full quality of the produced cement and its compliance with local and international specifications used for cement testing.
The Quality Control Department utilizes the latest scientific equipment for various analysis methods:
- X-ray and electronic computer analysis: used to analyze samples and control raw material proportions during production stages.
- Chemical testing: where materials are analyzed chemically.
- Mechanical testing: used to determine the strength and durability of concrete after a certain period of time.
- Gamma-ray analysis: Gamma-ray analysis devices have been installed on production lines. They analyze raw materials coming from the quarry and materials entering raw mills as they pass through the analysis units. The results are displayed every minute on a dedicated computer screen to ensure that material ratios and compositions comply with the standard specifications used in cement production. This system is considered one of the most advanced systems globally in this field.
In addition, samples of the final product are regularly sent to accredited laboratories within the Kingdom and abroad for testing and comparison with the results of our internal laboratories to ensure compliance with the required specifications.
