About the initiative
Southern Region Cement Company, a cornerstone of the cement industry in Saudi Arabia, is embarking on a tree-planting initiative as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility. This ambitious endeavor, aiming to plant 500,000 trees by 2030, will combat desertification and improve air quality by integrating biodiversity into the core of its business practices. The company is setting an example for others and demonstrating its commitment to Saudi Vision 2030.

Contributing to supporting vegetation development programs and desertification control projects through the initiative to plant 20,000 trees in stages during 2025, along the Bisha–Riyadh road in Bisha Governorate (first phase).
